Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine strukturierte Einkapselungsfolie für ein Photovoltaikmodul in Schindelbauweise aus einem thermoplastischen Material sowie die Verwendung dieser Einkapselungsfolie in Photovoltaikmodulen. Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Photovoltaikmoduls mit mindestens zwei geschindelten Solarzellen sowie Photovoltaikmodule mit mindestens zwei geschindelten Solarzellen.
