Es wird eine Anlage und ein Verfahren zur thermokatalytischen Behandlung von Material offenbart. Die Anlage weist einen Beschickungsbereich für die Zuführung zu behandelndem Ausgangsmaterial, eine Vorkonditionierungszone in der aus dem Ausgangsmaterial vorkonditioniertes Material gebildet wird, eine Pyrolysezone, in der aus dem vorkonditionierten Material pyrolysiertes Material gebildet wird sowie eine Separationseinheit zur Auftrennung erhaltenen pyrolysierten Materials auf. In der Vorkonditionierungszone und der Pyrolysezone sind jeweils Heizmittel zur Erwärmung des Materials vorgesehen. In der Pyrolysezone sind ferner Rückführungsmittel vorgesehen sind, mit denen der Feststoffanteil des pyrolysierten Materials direkt in den der Vorkonditionierungszone zugewandten Bereich der Pyrolysezone rückführbar ist.

A system and a method for thermocatalytic treatment of material is disclosed. The system has a charging region for the supply of starting material to be treated, a preconditioning zone in which preconditioned material is formed from the starting material, a pyrolysis zone in which pyrolysed material is formed from the preconditioned material, and a separation unit for separation of pyrolysed material obtained. In the preconditioning zone and the pyrolysis zone, heating means are provided in each case for heating of the material. Also provided in the pyrolysis zone are recycling means with which the solids content of the pyrolysed material can be recycled directly into the region of the pyrolysis zone facing toward the preconditioning zone.
