Abstract
Dargestellt und beschrieben ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Nanokomposites (1), aufweisend wenigstens ein thermoplastisches Matrixpolymer (2) und in dem Matrixpolymer (2) dispergierte Nanopartikel. Erfindungsgemaess ist vorgesehen, dass eine Nanopartikel und wenigstens ein Dispersionsmittel (3) aufweisende Nanopartikel-Dispersion (4) in einem Kontaktvorgang mit wenigstens einem mit dem Dispersionsmittel (3) nicht mischbaren ueberkritischen oder komprimierten Fluid als Extraktionsmittel (6) und ggf. mit wenigstens einem grenzflaechenaktiven Zuschlagstoff (7) sowie mit einer das Matrixpolymer (2) aufweisenden Polymerschmelze und ggf. mit wenigstens einem weiteren Zuschlagstoff (10) in wenigstens einer Kontakteinrichtung (5) in Kontakt gebracht wird.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a device for the production of a nano-composite comprising at least a contact arrangement for the extraction of nano-particles from a nano-particle dispersion with a supercritical or compressed liquid, which is immiscible with the dispersing agent of the nano-particle dispersion, as extracting agent and optionally for the dispersion of the nano-particles, which after extraction are contained in the extracting agent, in the polymer melt exhibiting the matrix polymer. USE - The nano-composite is used as coating and sinter powder in e.g. safety belts, seats, sunroof, pump impeller, sensor and hinges; and material for tooth belts. The nanoclay-polypropylene-composite is used intended of conventional talcum powder. The thermoplastic nano-composite is used at present in the automobile industry particularly for the production of lightweight components, in the packaging industry for the production of barrier foils and in the cable industry due to flame retarding effect. ADVANTAGE - The nano-composite exhibits good sliding qualities with high abrasion resistance. The nano-particle is easily and evenly dispersed in the polymer melt, which makes the process simple and economic.
