Abstract
The system has four parallel processors [P0-P3] that are coupled to a common memory [Sp] via a connecting network [Vn]. Within the memory are a number of partial image fields [T1-T4] and each one has four rectangular regions [R0-R3]. Also in the memory is space for result data [E] again divided into four regions. Coupled to the four processors is a sequence control module that provides processor pairing on an Exclusive-OR basis. USE - Processing of sub-divided image data fields. ADVANTAGE - Rapid processing of data.
