Verfahren zur Dichtebestimmung von plattenfoermigen Holzwerkstoffen

A description is given of a process for determining the density of panel-shaped timber derived products during production. The heat given off at the surface or side face of the workpiece is determined contactlessly after the workpiece leaves the press. This is preferably performed through the use of an infrared camera and recording thermograms of the workpiece surface. The thermograms obtained are then equated to the density distribution of the panel-shaped derived timber product.
