D2.1. Ethical, legal and societal aspects

After attempting to provide an initial definition of the concept of cybersecurity, this deliverable focuses on determining the ethica values (mainly security, privacy, fairness, accountability) and legal imperatives (fundamental rights and protection of personal data) relevant in the context of cybersecurity. Finally, the public attitudes towards privacy and security values is studied.
