Alternative drive trains and fuels in road freight transport - recommendations for action in Germany

This paper develops theses and recommendations for action on climate protection in road freight transport in Germany. Scientists from the Fraunhofer ISI, Oeko-Institut and Institute for Energy and Environmental Research (ifeu) have worked on various research pro-jects on this topic in the last few years. The aim of this work is to constructively present the cumulative knowledge of project partners. This paper is primarily addressing policy makers and is intended to stimulate further discussion on this important sub-topic of cli-mate policy.
