Schedule instability in automotive production networks: The Development of a network-oriented resequencing method

Schedule instability in production networks is a highly relevant topic for practitioners and academics lacking research, especially from a network perspective. This paper addresses the phenomenon schedule instability in automotive production networks by proposing a network-oriented partial car sequencing based resequencing method that integrates both, procurement and distribution related information. Based on this network-oriented approach, schedule instability stemming from short-term disruptions is reduced.
