The emerging markets for optimized Li-batteries

In nine detailed roadmaps, the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI illustrates the current research and development situation of lithium-ion batteries (LIB). The roadmapping process began in 2010 and involved numerous experts from science and industry, who jointly assessed the development potentials of lithium-ion batteries as energy storage systems for the electric mobility segment and stationary applications and other competing technologies.
