Title

Interaction of process and machine during high-performance grinding: Towards a comprehensive simulation concept

Abstract
Many simulations of grinding processes focus on the penetration of a grinding wheel and a workpiece and neglect displacements of the machine system. This paper presents a modular concept and initial applications for developing a comprehensive simulation of the grinding process and the grinding machine.
