Hybrid polymer incorporating BN particles: Thermal, mechanical, and electrical properties

A sol-gel-based hybrid polymer (ORMOCER®) was used as matrix for BN particles with an average diameter of 3 µm in order to increase thermal conductivity. Mechanical properties, thermal stability, dielectric constant and thermal conductivity were measured and compared to similar composites with organic polymer.
