A concept for future shipping

Sea Traffic Management (STM) aims at overcoming many communication & information sharing challenges that occur between maritime transport industry stakeholders, with particular focus placed on ship operators, cargo owners, and ports. From the size of the current 2015-2018 STM project - encompassing 39 private, public and academic partners from 13 countries and of a total budget of EUR 43 mln - we can learn that the topic is getting more attention.
