Development of a concept for safe and durable transport chains for the steel industry

The steel industry being one of the most important industries in Germany is still not meeting the latest developments in information technology. In consequence, due to the lack of information linkages between organizations, supply chains in the steel industry are unsafe and fragile. The objective of this project is to develop a concept for safe and durable supply chains for the steel industry by using state of the art information technologies.
