Wasserrückhaltevermögen von Recyclingspänen und von direkt aus Holz gewonnenen Spänen

Abstract
The water retention value of dried wood particles (obtained directly from wood) was determined and compared with that of particles obtained by mechanical disintegration or thermohydrolytical degradation of UF-bonded particleboards. The water retention of "fresh" and recycling particles was different. The recycling process of the particleboard has an influence on the water retention of the recycling particles.
