Title

Particle resuspension from surfaces by impacting objects

Abstract
The overall goal of the study is the investigation of particle resuspension from dusty surfaces caused by the impact of objects. Applications are found for example in the work place environment where this highly instationary process can contribute to the airborne dust concentration. The amount of dust resuspended from the target surface as well as the extent of the area at the objects' periphery affected by the event is of importance in this context.
