Effizienzmessung von ERP-Systemen

Die Messung des Nutzens von ERP-Systemen im Unternehmens-Einsatz ist Gegenstand vielfältiger Betrachtungen. Noch einen Schritt weiter geht ein europäisches Forschungskonsortium im Projet "ICT Efficiency Tool". Gegenstand ist die Entwicklung eines Tools zur Effizienzmessung der kompletten Unternehmens-IT-Struktur mit einem ERP-System im Mittelpunkt. Dabei wird vor der eigentlichen Effizienzbewertung der Unternehmens-IT zunächst analysiert, welche Informationen im Untenehmen tatsächlich von Bedeutung sind.

At present, much consideration is given to measuring the benfit of ERP systems used in companies. A European research consortium taking part in the "ICT Efficiency Tool" project goes one step beyond. It is concerned with the development of a tool that measures the efficiency of a company's information technology, the first step is to analyzewhat information a company really needs. Key to the IT efficiency analysis is to distinguish between information generation and information supply. The aim of the tool is primarily to help medium-sized manufacturing companies to evaluate and improve their IT environment.
