Title

Customization approach for inspection considering influence and variation factors

Abstract
It is an undeniable fact that quality assurance is important in the software development lifecycle. Techniques used to perform quality assurance are mainly inspections and testing. The comprehensive framework for customizing quality assurance techniques described in [DE06] and [DE07] presents an approach how the different techniques can be customized depending on the concrete development context. This report focuses on inspection and presents a customized requirements inspection process for change requests documents used at the IBS AG. This inspection is derived from a generic inspection model which is described in this deliverable, too. With this, we want to overcome the problem of having several different static quality assurance techniques with no support which technique to use in which context.
