Future Work Lab

1) The Future Work Lab is an innovation lab geared towards work, people and technology. It pools the expertise in all aspects of Industrie 4.0 and is designed to provide manufacturing companies with a place that they can come with any questions they might have about the digitalization of the industrial value creation chain. By showcasing digitalization and automation solutions of a high technology readiness level, Future Work Lab functions as a platform for the discourse about the design of future industrial work in Germany and Europe in close cooperation with different important players in a participatory manner. The FWL is open to companies, employees, works councils, politics, researchers and other interested stakeholders. This presentation provides the trends and research background of future industrial work as well as the organizational setup of Future Work Lab, consisting of a demo center, learning center and idea center.
