Abstract
Small deviations in gene sequences are coming in the focus of interest since the influence of SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphisms) on medical therapy is better understood. We now present a detection method for SNPs, which is robust in respect to noisy samples, i.e. variation of DNA concentration or interfering DNA. The method is based on the determination of a characteristic biophysical constant, the dissociation rate constant.
