Title

Development of a microfluidic adhesive patch for the detection of biomarkers in sweat

Abstract
In this work, the development of a microfluidic adhesive patch as a passive micropump for electrochemical measurements of biomarkers in sweat is presented. The laminar flow is based on the principle of evaporation of the fluid through small pores arranged in defined geometrical form. Therefore, the microfluidic patch allows a fast and non-invasive detection of biomarkers which can be done on-site in doctors' office or at patients' home.
