A review of humidity buffering in the interior spaces

Moisture buffering effect exists. This effect has been shown both in numerical simulations, in laboratory and field studies. This effect is probably positive for both the indoor air and the structures. To date, there have not been enough research to quantify this effect and more tests and demonstrations need to be carried out to show the benefits in practice.
