Deliverable: D4.4 Validation Report

The BungEES project (Building Up Next-Generation Smart Energy Services) is an EU-funded initiative (2022–2025) that has developed and validated an integrated one-stop-shop model for smart energy services in residential buildings. This model combines multiple clean energy technologies and services into a single offering to homeowners, owners of dwellings, multiapartment and other type of residential buildings. By integrating energy efficiency measures with distributed renewable generation, energy storage, demand response, electric vehicle (EV) charging, and IoT-based controls across electricity, heating, and cooling, BungEES enables households to optimize energy usage and actively participate in energy flexibility markets. This holistic approach aligns with Europe’s climate and energy goals, addressing the building sector’s critical role in the EU Green Deal and the transition to Zero Emission Buildings.
