Evaluation of ultrasonic indications by using PC-based synthetic aperture focussing technique -PCSAFT-

Abstract
The Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT) has used PC-SAFT in the Inservice Inspection of Primary components in Finnish PWR type VVER440 (Loviisa 1 & 2). The Indication detected in Manual Ultrasonic Inspections exceeding predefined directly Amplitude-Level, were analysed with the SAFT-Method.
