Shortening period of product development through the application of telecommunication service

The ability to conduct inter- and intra-enterprise communication and cooperation has been a factor in determining the success of an enterprise. In recent years, the wide coverage digital telecommunication net has formed the necessary infrastructure for the use of telecommunication service in small and medium-sized enterprises. In the project "Cobra-3", Fraunhofer-Institute of Working Economy and Organization (IAO) has developed and tested telecommunication service for the CAD mechanical engineering together with industrial partners and other institutes under Fraunhofer Association in order to shorten the period of product development.
