Hydrofügen - Möglichkeiten und Grenzen bei den Verfahrenskombinationen Hydroformen und Clinchen/Stanznieten

Hydrojoining is the integration of a joining operation into a hydroforming process. As the access to the inside of complex formed parts made by hydroforming is often difficult, by the utilization of the high fluid pressure of the hydroforming process joining operations can be realized by hydrojoining that would otherwise be impossible. In the paper basic priniciples of hydrojoining methods are described and examples of formed joints are given.
