Approaches to the continuous monitoring of bogies in service

This article presents the findings from investigations carried out as part of a joint research project (number: 6568/1015) funded by SAB (Sächsische Aufbaubank, Reconstruction Bank of Saxony). The participants were small and medium-sized businesses belonging to the railway-technology sector, providers of electronic services and also the Fraunhofer Society's Institute of Acoustic Diagnostics and Quality Assurance.
