It is often complaint that printouts produced by computers are difficult to read. Reasons for this can be found in poor designed forms as well as restricted possibilities of printers and programmers lack of knowledge for important factors of legibility. Now available printers offer a lot of modification possibilities for the printout. The importance of several factors like contrast variation, character set, several fonts, structuring elements for legibility is discussed. (IITB)
