Title

Concept for Process-Oriented Scalable Automation

Abstract
After the improvement of structures and organisation in the process oriented manner the further improvement of the system by using techniques in the realization of single processelements in the process chain with an adequate grade of automation have to be done. A matrix (processchain with its processelements(functionoriented) over the realisation possibilities with different grades of Automation gives an overview about the alternatives for systemdesign and discribes the different realisations which are possible. The choice of an alternative - perhaps with a mix of different grades of automation in the processchain - will be done economically (Minimum cost, shortest time, highest quality). The concept of process-orientated scalable automation will be explained with the processchain "Handling of coils by crane".
