MEMS-based gas analysis for future medical diagnostics

The fast diagnosis of diseases has become of major interest during the last years. The COVID-19 pandemic as well as the detection of antibiotic-resistant bacteria illustrates that the re is urgent need for portable devices that allow point-of-care diagnostics. The Fraunhofer Center MEOS is working on a solution by combining different approaches with a strong
focus on interdisciplinary collaboration.
