Klebsysteme für die integrierte Optik optimieren

It is common industrial practice to use adhesives for attaching glass-fibre waveguides to components of fibre- and integrated-optics sensors. Quality assurance in the production of these sensors is, however, still problematic because adhesive systems and processes are not yet fully matured. This article describes an approach to opitmize adhesive systems with respect to thermal and mechanical strength. Four different adhesive systems have been tested mechanically, chemically and optically.
