An interactive line creation method using B-splines

Concerns the problem of generating curves (and surfaces) interactively from given form parameters (offsets, derivatives, area, centroid, etc.) and applying the result to practical surface design problems. The authors describe the basic methods and deals with the practical application of the methods to ship design.
