Comparison study of different choke variants for PV boost converters
Abstract
This paper presents a comparison study of different choke variants for PV boost converters. A decreased ratio of power to weight and thereby a reduction in material was achieved by increasing the switching frequency and using a new ferrite material. All analysis and simulations were verified in a boost converter demonstrator setup.
