Colorimetry and constant luminance coding in a compatible HDMAC system

Abstract
The authors consider the establishment of a new colorimetric standard due to the advent of HDTV, and discuss the parameters to be reconsidered. Constant luminance coding is described, and nonlinear preemphasis is explained.
