Title

697 W 12 pm linewidth of fiber generated and amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) at 1 µm

Abstract
We report on a 12pm narrow-band ASE-source with 697W of continuous-wave output power (M2=1.3). Such source can serve in spectral beam combining setups for brightness-scaling purpose where SBS is known as the primary limiting factor.
