Title

Thermo-mechanical and mechanical robustness of the INCOBAT smart battery management system

Abstract
Within the European project INCOBAT a novel battery management system (BMS) architecture based on multi-core computing has been developed [1]. One important aspect of the project was to ensure a high maturity and readiness level of the developed BMS in order to enable a swift industrialization after the course of the project. This paper will detail selected results of reliability investigations, which were performed on a BMS passive balancing board in terms of thermo-mechanical analysis.
