Components of a ten-channel coherent HDTV/TV distribution system

Abstract
An optical coherent ten-channel distribution system with bit rates of 70 Mbit/s (nine channels) and 1.13 Gbit/s (one channel), corresponding to a TV and a high definition TV (HDTV) digital signal, was built. The main components of this laboratory system are reported.
