Title

Enhancing tangible user interfaces with physically based modeling

Abstract
This paper describes a novel approach to Interaction with Augmented Reality Environments. In Tangible user interfaces (TUI) the user can interact with the virtual parts of the environment through associated real objects. Virtual objects that are not part of the TUI remain unreachable for the user. Integrating a physical simulation can diminish this gap. Every object that is part of the simulation can at least be manipulated indirectly.
