ENSURE - Erhöhung der Resilienz durch die Einbindung freiwilliger Helfer in Krisensituationen

Crises and emergencies require a rapid support from aid helper's / emergency assistants. The ENSURE project is developing concepts and applications for a stronger citizen involvement for civil protection to guarantee a sufficient amount of volunteer emergency assistants in the future. In this paper the concept of the ENSURE system is described, that can generally be applied for the recruitment, administration, activation, and coordination of emergency assistants, and the results of a field test are presented.
