Semantic analysis of technical problems in mission reports

Reports from soldiers on out-of-area deployments (mission reports) can include the description of technical problems that have occured when using defence (weapon) systems. Semi-automated identification of the technical problems is being realised by subjecting a large number of these reports to a semantic text analysis. The resulting data can be used to improve the reliability of future systems.
