Title

SmartHomeFarming: Trends, Challenges, and Solutions in a Digital and Sustainable Future

Abstract
Networked and increasingly complex systems are solving ever more demanding tasks and are being seamlessly integrated into our everyday lives to provide us with efficient support. In industrial agriculture, this potential is being exploited through the use of SmartFarming to increase productivity and efficiency. In the private sector, smart devices are increasingly being used in homes to make everyday life easier, optimize energy consumption and increase comfort: SmartHome. With the growing importance of sustainability, so-called HomeFarming is gaining popularity. In this paper, we combine the potential of these three areas and introduce the concept: SmartHomeFarming.
