Encouraging Creativity. Support of mental processes by virtual experience

Virtual Reality is certainly able to influence mental processes. That raises the question about how we can support human creativity, which becomes more and more important. Therefore, the paper gives first an overview of the characteristics of creativity. In the second part, the paper describes the potential of virtual reality to support mental processes. In a conclusion, we discuss the impact of the described concepts.
