Title

Results, problems, future trends of research in and application of robot calibration

Abstract
Taking into account the industrial needs to introduce robot calibration, the paper presents a survey on techniques, hints and advice to be regarded when implementing robot calibration procedures. It centres on kinematic and actuator modelling. Suggestions concerning future research topics in robot calibration are provided. Problems and requirements of applying calibration in industry are discussed.
