Title
Rahmensysteme für offene Werkzeugsätze - Schnittstellen und Standards
Abstract
This article describes open framesystems as a basis for CASE systems. Open frameworks should contain at least one dialogue system and one (object-oriented) database, the concepts of which will be presented in the following. Both of these are of great importance for the tools to be integrated which determine the functionality of the CASE system. Only the standardization of interfaces - in the case of the database this has already begun with ECMA-PCTE and CAIS - can lead to the availability of a sufficiently large number of tools, which are efficient and capable of being integrated, to achieve a break-through for CASE-systems.
