An approach for the integration of online idea portals

This paper presents ongoing research on an approach to integrate arbitrary online idea platforms that allow users to publicly utter and discuss new ideas or provide solutions to previously announced problems. We discuss the need for integrating such platforms in order to support use cases such as finding the best-suited portal to search for a solution or promote and discuss an idea, simultaneously searching multiple portals for ideas on a given topic, and even technologically challenging operations like inserting a new idea on multiple platforms at once.
