Optimizing simulators within material flow systems

This paper tests an optimization strategy with regard to her qualification and rate of convergence for discrete and stochastic processes. Therefore the behaviour of this strategy will be observed at differently influenced testfunctions. Then an application to a practical problem out of the field of material flow simulation with corresponding interpretation follows.
