Architektur und Realisierung eines Multimedia-Dialogmanagers

The notion of interactive multi-media systems is introduced. A brief review of user interface management systems is given and the ISA Dialog Manager with its main features is presented. Possible architectures for the extension of user interface management systems towards multimedia user interface management systems are discussed. The current implementation status of the Multimedia Builder, an extension of the ISA Dialog Manager and its future directions are outlined. The Multex system - a multimedia user interface management system based on the DIAMANT user interface management system is discusses as example of a multi-modal user interface management system.
