Synopsis of CO2 Reduction Measures and Potentials in Germany

Title Supplement
Comparative Analysis of the CO2 Reduction Potentials and Proposed Actions Specified in the Reports Presented by the Enquete Commission on "Preventive Measures to Protect the Earth's Atmosphere" and in the Decisions Adopted by the German Federal Republic
Abstract
The German Federal Government has decided to reduce CO2 emissions in the FRG between 25 and 30 percent by the year 2005, relatively to the 1987 emission volume. The publication is a synopsis of the CO2 reduction potentials specified and the actions proposed by the German Bundestags Enquete Commission on "Preventive Measures to Protect the Earth's Atmosphere" and, on the other hand, the reduction targets defined and the measures already initiated by the German Federal Government.
