The special session on "Standardisation in Human-Computer Interaction and European Directive 90/270 on VDT" discusses activities and approaches on how to implement the requirements of the European Directive EU 90/270 in the software development process. Tools for task analysis software design, integration of guidelines in the software development process as well as practical and efficient software evaluation tools are presented.
