Implementierung und Integration eines Fingerprintingalgorithmus

The objective of this diploma thesis was to implement and integrate a perceptual hashing algorithm for the identification of images into the AXMEDIS framework. This algorithm is based on higher order statistics. It calculates a digest from different image characteristics. The calculation of these statistics was done in C++. In order to ensure the correctness of the implemented functionality, unit tests were applied which verified the implemented functionality with the available implementation in MatLab.
