Abstract

The present work contains a systematic investigation of the fatigue behavior of PACVD-hard coating steel compounds. Different plasma heat treatments (plasma nitriding and carbonitriding) and hard coatings within the system Ti-Al-C-N were applied on the high-speed steel S6-5-2 as substrate.
